At Edvocate, not only are our interactive workshops designed to align with the Victorian Science Curriculum, they are also designed to go beyond - teaching and cultivating critical thinking skills. We appreciate the immensity of the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and we engage and educate students on important concepts and theories. Exciting class demonstrations as well as hands-on, group, paired and individual experiences are designed to enhance and explore specific areas of learning.
Our incursions are suitable for Primary to Middle School aged students from Foundation to Year 8. During our incursions, students are guided to develop critical and creative thinking skills - to question, hypothesize and to draw conclusions using scientific methods.
Edvocate workshops are designed to empower Foundation - Grade 8 students with Scientific reasoning, knowledge of Robotics and critical thinking skills - aligning them with the Science, Math, Design and Technologies and Digital Technologies Achievement Standards, the depth of each topic has been developed to extend students at the respective year levels.
